Its sports time for CMDA. On 17^th January CMDA in association with Intex Technologies arranged Tennis ball cricket tournament. This time the matches were played on beautiful green PYC Hindu Gymkhana ground. 

Intex Technologies has sponsored the entire event. For last 4 consecutive years Intex has been sponsoring the event.

Along with cricket match we have organized fun games for children and family members.  The fun games included sports quiz. For the first time ever we had organized cricket match for the children.

The event was attended by more than 100 members and overall attendance was more than 220 members and their families.

The first match was played between CMDA Dare Devils V/s. CMDA Lions, which was started exactly on prescribed time 9.30 am. The captain of CMDA Dare devils Mr. Gopal Bahirat won the toss and asked Mr. Date (captain of CMDA Lions) to bat first. In their 12 Overs CMDA Lions made 88 runs and gave the target of 89 runs to CMDA Dare Devils. CMDA Lion won by 5 runs. Dare devils made only 83 runs.

This second match was played between children. All present members enjoyed nice performances of upcoming players.

The third match was played between CMDA Chargers and Intex. The CMDA Chargers (Captain Mr. Inamdar) won the toss and asked Mr. Nazim (Captain of Intex 11) to bowl first. This was the high scoring match and in their 12 Overs CMDA Chargers made  116 runs and gave the target of 117 runs to INTEX. INTEX lost this match by only 7 runs. This match was very exciting till last ball due to some of the very exciting batting performances by INTEX players.

The final match was played between CMDA chargers V/s. CMDA Lions. The CMDA Lion won the toss and elected to batting first. This was the low scoring match and in that In their 12 Overs CMDA Lions made 75 runs. CMDA chargers chased the target comfortably and won the match with 9 wickets in hand.  

CMDA chargers won the CMDA-Intex trophy.
