Dr. Nitin Karir –Divisional Commissioners of Pune Distritc on 4th December, inaugurated this years expo. CMDA had Collaborated With Sakal Group for holding this Expo. Cisco AOC Intel, Samsung, Microsoft, DSK Digital, Lenovo, Toshiba ,Epso ,TVSE ,Acer, Canon etc. are the principal Companies that participated in this EXPO Around 1Lakh people visited the it EXPO 2008 in 4 days was good response to all the exhibitors inspite Recessions in the market The total event planned and executed by convener Mr. Yogesh Godbole and supported by co-convener’ Mr. Sanjay Adhav, Mr. Ashutosh Karkhanis and Mr. Sanjeev Pathare.

Diwali Mela is one of the events for which not only the CMDA members, but also their families keep waiting for the event to take place. This is one event which brings the entire community together along with their family to enjoy a gala evening with lots of fun and frolic. The event was held at Krishna Sundar Garden on 18th October 2008. Intel was the part sponsor of this gala evening and this is the first time that the Diwali Mela was sponsored.
The Diwali Mela 2008 was full of Entertainment, Music, Games, Dance, Magic shows , Tattoo painters, Portrait Painters, Astrologers, Bangle makers, Pot makers, Gas Balloons, Sugar Candies and variety spread of mouthwatering delicacies , Juices and Drinks and Ice-creams and many more.
